Dave Murphy, BS, ACSM-CPT
David grew up in Dublin, Ireland where he was passionate
about soccer and played semi-professionally. He moved to
the United States in 1995 where he met his wife, Angela.
David has been a youth soccer coach for more than 10
years. He holds an E, D and C National License in
Coaching from the United States Soccer Federation. David
is the Director of Coach and Player Development for
Ocean State Soccer Club and also volunteers as a coach.
He is the Jr. Varsity Head Coach and Assistant Varsity
Coach for North Kingstown High School boy’s soccer.
David is a certified first aid/CPR instructor by the
American Heart Association. In May 2007, David graduated
from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in
Kinesiology specializing in Health and Fitness. Says
David, "With my academic knowledge, sports experience
and practical skills, I would like to be a part of
improving the health of the community."
